Porter's Finished Floors are made from FSC certified (100% pure), beautiful plantation grown American Oak, hand brushed or scraped to achieve an elegant worn finish, and protected with UV cured Aluminium Oxide clear finish for long lasting protection. Porter's pre-finished engineered flooring provides a smooth, clean looking finish with a beautiful low sheen lustre that is immediate walk-on after laying. We specialise in wide boards, and source our product from the world's leading manufacturer. We also stock solid oak mouldings for stair nosings, trims and wall panelling. We adhere strictly to the FSC's Chain of Custody Compliance (Forest Stewardship Council).

The Benefits of Engineered Timber Floors:

Up to 12 layers of quality ply are used to ensure stability. When compared to solid timber floorboards, the longer spans give a smoother more seamless finish, and the superior engineering eliminates "cupping", a warping problem that can occur in solid timber, especially in wider widths. Engineered timber floors are extremely stable and many of the problems that effect floor laying, such as drying, shrinkage and moisture expansion, are eliminated or reduced.

Quality Details:

All Porter's Finished Floors are carefully checked before delivery to ensure end-matching (where grain of timber follows on where two floorboards join at the ends), and colour matching is correct. To ensure a perfectly seamless finish, Porter's Finished Floors are tongue and grooved both on the sides and at the ends.
